I’m so happy you’re here. I’m Emily Paulson, a Minnesota-based Wedding & Lifestyle photographer with a team of associate photographers. Together, my team and I have had the honor of photographing over 200 weddings and 500 sessions, capturing some of life’s most meaningful moments for our amazing clients!
Photography isn’t just my job - it’s something I genuinely love. Our goal is to capture images that feel timeless and authentic, so you can relive these moments for years to come.
my photography journey
15 years ago I picked up a camera and fell in love with photography. What started as a creative hobby quickly became a passion. In 2017, I decided to specialize in wedding + engagements, pouring my heart into serving couples during such a special season of life. Just a year later, I took a leap and went full - time with my business. It truly is a blessing to wake up each day and do what I love.
a little bit about me
When I am not behind the camera or editing galleries, you’ll most likely find me: spending time with my husband, Matthew, and our son, Liam, cheering on my husband's football team (Go Oles!), catching up with friends over a latte at a local coffee shop, or getting ice cream at our local ice cream spot! For any enneagram fans, I am a 2 wing 3 - which explains a lot about why I love serving people and making them feel cared for.
I graduated from Bethel University with a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication, with an emphasis in Strategic Marketing. Those years helped shape the business owner I am today.
my greatest joy
In 2025, our family grew from two to three when we welcomed our sweet son, Liam. He makes every day brighter. Becoming his mom has been the greatest blessing and has given me an even deeper appreciation for preserving memories. I have seen how quickly life changes and how precious photographs become with each passing year.
the love of my life, matthew
Matthew is my best friend, my biggest supporter, and the love of my life. We started dating in 2018 and spent our first year navigating long distance. In 2019, he proposed, and about a year later we celebrated our wedding at The Hutton House.
Being a bride gave me a whole new perspective. I understand how much emotion, planning, and anticipation goes into a wedding day, and it's one of the reasons I'm so passionate about creating a calm, joyful experience for every couple I work with.
Whether you're planning your wedding, celebrating an engagement, or documenting your growing family, I'd be honored to tell your story. My hope is that years from now, you'll look back at your photographs and remember not only how everything looked—but exactly how it felt. I believe the best photographs aren't perfectly posed—they're filled with genuine laughter, happy tears, tight hugs, and the people you love.
